Serenity Prayer. . .
God, Will you grant me the serenity to accept those things I cannot change, the courage to change the things I can and the wisdom to know the difference between the two? Will you allow me to live one day at a time, enjoy one moment at a time? Help me understand and accept hardship and discipline as Your pathway to peace; taking, as Jesus did, this sinful world as it is, not as I think or wish it would be. I'll trust you to make all things right and work them out for good as I surrender to Your will for my life; Anticipating that I may be only reasonably happy in this life, but know that I will be supremely happy with You FOREVER in the next.
